Service for Marty J. Palmer, 46, of Keene, Texas will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 11, 2025 in St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Father Scott Wooten will officiate. Burial will follow in Keene Memorial Park. A visitation will be held 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, October 10, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with the Rosary starting at 7:40 P.M. Friday.
Marty J. Palmer passed away October 1, 2025 in Keene, Texas. He was born March 29, 1979 in Abilene, Texas to Rodney and Patti Thornburg Palmer. He married Myste Johnson in 2009 in Burleson, Texas.
Marty enjoyed his job driving a school bus for Joshua ISD. He also loved soccer, playing cards and watching older movies. He loved his animals. Marty was devoted to his Catholic faith and serving others. He was always trying to get his family together for gatherings. Marty was a devoted son and brother, loving father, husband, uncle and “Poppi” to his grandkids.
Marty is preceded in death by his step-son, Chad Stanley, grandparents, two uncles; mother-in-law, Norma Moore and sister-in-law, Tammie McDearmon.
Marty is survived by his parents, Rodney and Patti Palmer; wife, Myste Palmer; children, Tristan Palmer, Ethan Palmer, Preston Palmer and wife, Ivory, Angela Palmer; step-children, William Johnson, Chelsee Johnson, Paige Witherspoon, Jacob Witherspoon and wife Elevinia; grandchildren, Laythen, Paislee and Anatiel; siblings, Audey Palmer and wife Michelle, Ben Palmer and wife Deanna; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and his beloved fur babies Coco and Binky.
