In Loving Memory of Amanda Marion Needham
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Amanda Marion Needham on 05 January 2026, at the age of 47. Amanda was the loving wife of Shawn Needham. Together, they shared sixteen years filled with love, laughter, and countless memories, raising three beautiful children and cherishing one precious grandchild.
Amanda was born on April 19, 1978, in
Mount Airy, North Carolina. She was a kind and compassionate soul whose presence brightened the lives of everyone she met. Whether she was volunteering at the community center or taking her children and grandchild to the park, Amanda had a gift for making people feel welcome and at ease. She lived her life with warmth, generosity, and an open heart.
Amanda was more than a wife. She was Shawn's best friend and soulmate, his confidant, and a source of strength through every season of life. Her laughter, her unwavering support, and her deep love for her family will be missed beyond words.
Amanda leaves behind her children, Brianna Hope Needham, Seth Gabriel Marion, and Mason Andrew Needham, who were the center of her world. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchild, Forest Gabriel Marion, whom she adored deeply and loved being a grandmother to more than anything. She is also survived by her parents, Rene and Bryan Marion, her sisters Roxane Cann brother in-law Cary Cann, Valarie Marion, and her niece Lily Puckett-Cann.
Amanda's legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with her kindness, compassion, and love. She will be remembered for the way she cared for others and the comfort she brought simply by being present.
