Amanda Danielle Perez, age 33, of San Marcos, Texas, was called to her Heavenly Father on May 18, 2025. Born in Austin, Texas, Amanda brought warmth, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Aurora Perez; her siblings, Valerie Perez (Nena) and Scott Perez (Holly), Paternal Grandmother Isabel Perez and her beloved fur baby and best friend, King. She is also survived by her uncles: Dario Perez (Gina), Desi Perez (Gracie), Domingo Perez Jr. (Sylvia ), and Johnny Gonzales; her aunts: Diana Shearer (Chris), Yolanda Peterson (Mike), and Betty Galvan; as well as numerous loving cousins, extended family, and friends who cherished her deeply.
Amanda is preceded in death by her father, Danny D. Perez; her grandfather, Domingo Perez Sr.; her uncle, David Perez; her grandparents, Jesus and Cleotilde Gonzales; and her uncle, Jesus Gonzales.
Amanda had a bright and vibrant spirit. She had a deep love for music-she sang, danced, and created her own sound with joy and passion. An avid fisherwoman, she found peace near the water and was always up for a spontaneous car ride. Her happiest moments were spent with family, whether it was a simple gathering or a big BBQ-her excitement was infectious, and she never missed a chance to share good news.
She will be remembered for her caring heart, her contagious laugh, and the love she poured into every moment with her family and friends. Amanda's energy, light, and great spirit will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
Pallbearers will be: Valerie Perez, Scott Perez, Dario Perez, Desi Perez, A.J. Perez, and J.D. Perez.
Amanda's love lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will be a blessing forever. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Amanda, please visit our Tree Store.
