Amanda Vergel Obituary

Amanda was a vibrant young woman who lived passionately. She loved her family and friends deeply, After recently graduating from Mainland High School, she was attending Daytona State College. She was an amazing athlete and student. She could do flips on a beam and solve complex calculus problems. She made friends everywhere she went. Amanda brought joy to everyone she knew with her infectious laugh and warm spirit.
Even with her short time with us, she made a big impact on everyone around her. Amanda had a natural ability to uplift and fill a room with light and laughter. She was a friend to so many, a loving daughter, and the sweetest sister. She will be missed forever but never forgotten.
Amanda is survived by her parents, Loida dela Vega and Nardy Vergel; her siblings, Vince and Ryan Vergel; her grandparents, Esmeraldo Vergel and Luisita dela Vega; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many close friends who loved her immensly.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2024 from 10-12 PM at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 PM in the Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Amanda's memory to World Wildlife Fund.
The family thanks everyone for their support during this difficult time. Amanda will continue to inspire us each day, while her laugh and smile live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.

I will never forget is texting each other everyday to meet in the bathroom at school to rant and talk. i miss you so much and i still can´t believe you´re gone. i´m so sad and hurt over this, amanda you were everything and more my love
