Amandeep Singh

Amandeep Singh, 44, a resident of Poughquag, died on July 22, 2025.
Born in Samrala, Punjab, India on June 11, 1981, he was the son of Jaspal Kaur and the late Parminder Singh. Amandeep immigrated to the United States in 2002. He graduated from Molloy College in Long Island with a dual Master's Degree in Adult Primary Care and Psychiatry, and received his Nurse Practitioner's Certificate. He was employed by Essen Medical Group in the Bronx serving several local nursing homes. Amandeep also ran his own psychiatric practice in Fishkill, NY.
Amandeep dedicated his life to helping others heal. He was deeply committed to serving his community with empathy, kindness, and professionalism. His work made a lasting difference in the lives of countless patients and families.
Amandeep was an avid tennis player and was a member of the Taconic Sport & Racquet. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking. He was a loving and caring father and husband.
Amandeep is survived by his wife, Aleksandra (Radomska) Jastrzab; his son, Akashvir; his daughter, Anushka; his stepson, Jerry Jastrzab; his mother, Jaspal Kaur; his grandfather, Karam Singh; his brother, Hardeep Singh; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the friends and community members who have supported them during this time of profound grief. All who knew and loved Amandeep are welcome to attend.
Family and friends will gather on Friday July 25th from 4-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a Sikh prayer service at 6pm.
