Amelia Byrd Obituary
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by companion Bill Ray; sisters Marva Owens, Becky Byrd and Elfrieda Hager; one brother David Byrd; along with two infant sisters Johnny Jo and Mahala.
She is survived by sisters Deane Phillips and Carol Burgess; brother Glenn Byrd; uncle Arvis Blakley; several nieces and nephews; chosen son Rusty Liming; chosen grandchildren Ricki and Jonah; special friends David and Sharon Keeton and family, Larry Hord and family, Donna Brooks and Franklin West; caregivers Jenny and Christy Carson.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 4 PM until time of service to begin at 8 P.M. Burial at Carson Memorial will be a private family service on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Brent Ellis, Culley Phillips, Jeremy Bellmore, Dylan Bellmore, Paul Newport and Dale Posey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Goodwin, Will Goodwin, Franklin West and Charlie Terry.
