Amita was a generous, loving, and supportive wife, mother, and friend. She was the heartbeat of her family, the one who held everyone together with her nurturing spirit and endlessly caring heart. Her steadfast will, empathetic heart, and thoughtful listening made her an irreplaceable presence in our lives. Amita was not just a homemaker, but a creator of a warm and inviting sanctuary that was always filled with delicious smells from her kitchen, laughter from her granddaughters, and the comfort of knowing you were always welcome. Her hobbies, which included cooking, playing with her granddaughters, going shopping, manicures, playing candy crush, watching Indian religious shows, and traveling, were all expressions of her love for life and family.
Amita was the beloved wife of Sita Ram Verma, the loving mother of Rachit and Bhavna Verma, and a devoted daughter to her parents, Bharat Lal Verma and Shakuntla Devi. She was a beacon of light and strength in all of her family's lives, and her memory will forever remain in their hearts. Amita's Funeral Puja, Viewing, and Last Rites/Cremation will be held on Friday, 19th September 2025 at 9:30 am EDT at Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 New Jersey 27, North Brunswick Township, New Jersey, 08902.
