Amitaben Nimesh Patel, a beacon of love and gentleness, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024, in Bartlett, Illinois, at the age of 54. Born on August 5, 1969, in India, she was the cherished daughter of Kamuben and the late Jayantibhal Patel. Amitaben's life was a testament to the power of love, the strength of family bonds, and the grace of a life well-lived.
A devoted wife, Amitaben shared 32 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Nimesh Kanubhai Patel. Together, they built a life full of joy, mutual respect, and unwavering support. Amitaben was the loving mother of two sons, Ronit and Neel Patel, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her nurturing spirit and thoughtful guidance were the cornerstones of their upbringing.
She is survived by her caring mother, Kamuben, who instilled in her the values of compassion and kindness that she carried throughout her life. Amitaben was a dear sister to Beena (Kamlesh) Patel, Varsha Patel, Aarti (Prashant) Patel, Rupa (Hitesh) Patel, and Janakbhai (Sunanda) Patel. Her siblings will remember her as the gentle and loving presence that brought warmth to every family gathering.
Amitaben's extended family was blessed with her thoughtfulness, as she was a fond aunt to P. Vimal Yogi Swami-BAPS, Payal, Priya, Jesal, Devam, Hetvi, Vraj, Jenny, Bindi, Krupa, Jay, Nirzari, Arjun, Mikit, Shivani, and Nikesh. Her affection and care for her nieces and nephews knew no bounds, and her memory will continue to inspire them.
Those who knew Amitaben were touched by her loving nature. She had an innate ability to make everyone around her feel valued and cared for. Amitaben's gentle demeanor was complemented by her thoughtful approach to life, always considering the feelings and well-being of others before her own.
Her interests were deeply rooted in her love for her family. She found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life – a shared meal, a family celebration, or the laughter of her children. Amitaben's life was a reflection of the love she gave and received, and her legacy will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Amitaben's passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends, yet they take comfort in the memories of her love and the gentle impact she made on their lives. She will be remembered as a woman who lived her life with grace, a loving soul whose presence enriched the lives of all around her.
As we bid farewell to Amitaben Nimesh Patel, we honor her life by carrying forward the love and compassion she exemplified. Her spirit, characterized by loving kindness, will forever be cherished and held dear in our hearts. May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all.
A pooja for Amitaben will be held at DuPage Funeral Chapel (951 W. Washington Street, West Chicago) on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 beginning at 1 PM. For those who cannot attend in person, the service will be live streamed below.
