Amy Biank(née Hanisko), age 77, of Oswego, IL, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, surrounded by love and family. Born in Chicago, IL, She was the proud and devoted mother of two children, Ann (Brian) Campbell and John (Amanda) Biank, a nurturing grandmother to her three cherished grandchildren, and a devoted companion to her long-time partner, Dave Enway Wullenwaber. She is also survived by her former husband, Daniel, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bernice, as well as her sister, Laurel, who all undoubtedly greeted her with open arms as she embarked on her next journey.
Amy was a beacon of light and wisdom to everyone she encountered. Throughout her life, she was known for her intellect, loving nature, and spirited personality. Amy touched many lives through her company, Intuition Unlimited, where she was known worldwide for her work as an intuitive healer and her teachings as a holistic coach and medium. Amy also shared her wisdom weekly through the Intuitive Angel internet radio show with her co-host Dave and countless guests.
Amy's creative spirit shone brightly in her paintings, and her passion for flowers and jewelry reflected her vibrant essence. Whether she was spending time with family, traveling the world, or offering solace to someone seeking clarity, her legacy of love, creativity, healing, and exploration continues to inspire those she touched throughout her extraordinary life. May she be remembered with warmth and gratitude by all who carry forward the light she so genuinely shared.
We will host a Celebration of Amy's life from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Bauman Family Funeral Home, 5600 U.S. Route 34, Oswego, IL 60543. A small service and eulogy will be held at 3:30 pm. In true Amy fashion, all are welcome to come as they are, with hearts open and stories to share.
In lieu of flowers, Amy's family encourages donations to a charity of your choice, an act of kindness in her memory, or simply taking a moment to listen to your intuition- it's what she would have wanted

Amy is the closest person I can think of who was an angel on earth. She was loving, generous, wise, incredibly intuitive, and eager to be of service. The gifts that she brought to us were certainly out-of-this-world. I was blessed to find Amy during one of the darkest times of my life. She showed me the way through that terrible time to one of the most joyful times of my life. She was patient with me and understood my problems in a way few ever have. I was saddened to hear of her transition because I will miss her physical presence. Yet I know Amy had physical challenges and deserves to be free of pain. Though Amy was one of the most optimistic people I have ever met, her struggles must have been harder than she ever let on. For as long as I knew her, and close to the time of her death, she had the spirit of a seeker always believing that there were new discoveries to be made and an even more exciting life ahead. Just yesterday I repeated one of the lessons Amy taught me to a friend of mine. Now that we are older, we were talking about death and what might happen when we die. I told her, "Amy told me long ago that if you are dying and ever feel scared or lost, you need to do only one thing - 'Say God Please Help Me and God will come to show you the way.' " In this way, the wisdom of my spiritual teacher Amy will continue to help light the world. Her influence will endure forever. Thank you, dear Amy, for making such a positive difference in my life and the lives of so many more.

I have included some of my favorite pictures of our Amy.
