A talented gymnast, he became the Pennsylvania state champion in tumbling, earning a college scholarship for his achievements. George had a lifelong love for boating and owned several boats, spending many joyful years on the water. After retiring, he discovered a passion for woodworking, dedicating his time to crafting furniture and other decorative pieces.
George cherished spending time at his shore house with his wife, Ginger, and their family-a place that became their permanent residence after his retirement from the Mennen Company in 1991, following 37 years of dedicated service.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years, Virginia Biank; his son, Anthony Biank, and his wife, Patricia; his daughter, Lisa Mancinelli, and her husband, Rich; his grandson, Christopher Mainenti, and his wife, Irina; grandson, Michael Mainenti; granddaughter, Nicole Puccetti, her husband, Steven, and their beautiful son and George's great-grandson, Enzo; granddaughter, Alicia Purtell; grandson, Ricky Purtell; and grandson, Anthony John Biank. George is also survived by his brothers, Joseph Biank and his wife, Iris, and Vincent Biank and his wife, Sally. He is predeceased by his brother, Frank (Sonny) Biank, and his sisters, Carmela Haitmanek and Catherine Giorgianni.
George was deeply loved by his many nieces and nephews, who will forever cherish his memory.
