Born in Tupelo MS on September 13th, 1974, Amy Heather Burt came into this world and lived life to the fullest every day. November 2nd, 2025, she left this life peacefully after a hard and brave battle with brain cancer. After graduating from The University of Louisiana Monroe, she was a stay-at-home mother with her two children and later began a career as Program Specialist for MDOT in the Aeronautics Division. The old saying that someone can light up a room with their smile and laughter is so very true of Heather. Those who were lucky enough to be loved by her knew it without a doubt. She loved to spoil her family and friends. She loved fiercely and to be loved by her was a true honor.
She is survived by her loving husband Robby Burt. Daughter Eva Claire Brown. Son Garrett Brown. Stepsons Robert Burt (Jalyssa), William Burt (Mary Beth). Grandson Ryder Burt along with her fur baby Beau. Sister Denise Staten (Don). Father and Mother-in-law Bob and Diane Burt. Seester in love Andrea Wells (Josh). Aunts and Uncles along with cousins and several nieces and nephews. Special friends Tara Culotta and Stacy Pierce.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Ernest Lafayette Wilson Jr. (Ernie), Evelyn French Sibille. Sister Shandra Allred.
