Michael Dale Daniels

Michael Dale Daniels, 67, was born on October 29, 1958, in Collins, MS and passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2026, in Clinton, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Wed. Feb. 18, 2026, from 11am-1pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi. Funeral Services are 1pm on Wed. Feb. 18, 2026, at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, Mississippi.

Dale was a devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend who was deeply loved by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his son, Patrick Daniels; his twin sister, Gail Coleman (Zack); sister, Brenda Newton (Bob); brother, George Daniels (Vickey); as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who cherished him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, G.R. and Betty Daniels.

Dale was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing. He loved spending time bicycling and enjoyed many rounds of golf with his buddies over the years. He also had a special love for animals, especially the dogs he owned throughout his life. In his later years, he found happiness in raising his chickens. Let us not forget his great love for music. He loved all types of music, but Jimmy Buffet was a favorite.

Dale will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his kindness toward animals, the friendships made with his neighbors, and the lasting memories he created with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
