Amy Cantrell, 85, of West Mansfield, passed at 4:55 a.m. Sunday, September 3, 2023 in Memorial Gables, Marysville, Ohio following an extended illness.
She was born October 15, 1937, in Vinton County, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Sara Barbee Watkins. On August 3, 1959, she married Bobby W. Cantrell who survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Rebecca Jane Cantrell, at home and Melissa Mae Cantrell, of West Mansfield; 3 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Miller, of Chillicothe; and a niece, Sandy Warfield, of Columbus. She was predeceased by a son, Timothy Cantrell; brothers, Wayne, Walter, Wade and Marcus; and a son-in-law, Jeffrey Young.
Amy retired from Ranco Controls following 27 years of service.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Leonard Roop officiating. A private burial will be held in York Cemetery, Friday, September 8, 2023 in York Center, Ohio. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday.
