Penfield - Amy Beth Dawes passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the age of 56. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Dawes and her sister, Kathy Lamendola. She is survived by her brother, Michael Dawes; her sisters, Patricia (Harley) Ess and Donna Chambers; and several nieces and nephews.
Amy loved the Lord. She was very creative with projects and artistic ventures. Her pastimes included maintaining her orchids, listening to Rolling Stones music, tending to her cat Sebby, playing games particularly "Kings in the Corner" card game and Scrabble, and watching movies like "The Notebook" and romantic comedies. She also loved butterflies, fish, and her "ice cream car." She loved her work and the many people she worked for. One of Amy's greatest loves was her home. She truly loved her family the most, and enjoyed being with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, July 25th from 4 - 7 PM at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc. in Hilton, where her Memorial Service will take place at 7 PM.

We are so sorry for your loss. We always knew Amy to be so thoughtful and caring of others. She had a wonderful sense of humor and thinking about her will always make us smile. I will miss stories about her cat Sebby, work, music, cooking and adventures to Florida to visit her sister. Amy brought joy to many people and will be greatly missed!
