Amy Marie Imperato, age 44, passed away July 28, 2024 in Michigan City, Indiana with her loving family by her side. Amy was born on June 30,1980 in Michigan City, Indiana. She is survived by her loving son, Ethan Imperato, her parents, Earl Hartsburg and Julie Fitzhugh (nee Radke), brother, Matt (Pam) Hartsburg, niece, Brooklynn Hartsburg and nephew, Aiden Hartsburg, fiancé, Tommy Moore and she was loved dearly by Tommy's children, Tommy Moore III, T'Mya Moore, Taliyah Moore, Tylah Moore and the rest of the Moore Family. Amy is preceded in death by her grandparents. Amy had a profound love for birds and photography, both separate and together. Her breathtaking photos of birds, the beach, lighthouses and flowers can be seen on her Instagram: imperato_images. Amy has also had one of her beautiful photos posted in Birds & Blooms magazine. Amy was a generous, loving and kind person. She was always willing to help others. Amy was especially thoughtful to everyone she met. She was a genuinely wonderful woman and nurturing mother-often referred to as "Wonder Woman", a superhero she admired. Amy will be greatly missed and fondly remembered til the end of time.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 12:00-3:00 PM where family and friends are encouraged to share their memories in honor of Amy.
