Amy Nadine Mahen, of the West Allegheny community, passed away on October 3, 2025. Loving mother of Mackenzie (Jonathan) McGoran, Mallory Mahen and Mandy Mahen; former spouse of Mark Mahen; sister of Melissa Ruff and Justin Ruff; daughter of Wendy Ruff; sister by love, Barb Liwosz and her life partner, Rick Brown. She also leaves behind her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will also be dearly missed by her cat, Catsby. She will be resting with her grandmother, Virginia N. Kress and her grandfather, Robert W. Kress. Amy's first passion in life were her daughters, she cherished being a mother. She was an avid Steelers fan, she loved music and enjoyed playing the piano, singing and dancing. Her special touch was interior decorating and could make a house a home like no one else. Her laughter was contagious and could light up a room. Amy loved the outdoors, going to the beach and watching the wildlife. She was very bright and had a very competitive spirit, which was very obvious if you ever played cards or a board game with her, her determination was unmatched. When a butterfly comes by we will always think of her. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 2:00 pm until the time of a service at 4:00 pm at the Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd; 930 Center Avenue Blawnox, PA, 15238.
