In Loving Memory of Amy Marie Morris
February 7, 1979 – August 28, 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Amy Morris, beloved daughter of Barbara (Dunn) Morris and the late Timothy M Morris and his wife Darlene Morris. Cherished sister of John Morris (NFD) and his wife Colleen and Trevor Morris and his wife Kristen. Devoted aunt to Madison and Johnny Strong.
She also leaves behind her special friends Diane, Mike and Lina and her loving boyfriend Dave Farrell and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amy was born and raised in Nonantum, MA. Amy was a graduate of NNHS in 1997, she went on to earn her degree in early childhood education at Curry College in 2001. Amy's passion was caring for children. Her entire career was dedicated to pre-school teaching and nurturing young minds. She will be missed tremendously by the staff and families at Explore and More.
Her favorite time traveling was Cape Cod,where she could often be found with her toes in the sand enjoying the serene beauty of the beach alongside her cousin Stacy. She continued to embrace the beauty of travel exploring Ireland, Hawaii, and Aruba. Those moments filled with laughter and memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her.
Though her time with us was far too short, Amy's love and laughter will live on forever.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Jimmy Fund in honor of #Johnnystrong.

Friends and family will gather in her memory at the Magni Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Newton on Friday, Sept. 5 from 4-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Amy on Saturday morning, Sept. 6, at 10:30am in Our Lady's Church, 573 Washington St, Newton. No procession from the funeral home. Please go directly to church.

Burial will be private.

Losing Amy feels unreal. She had the kind of smile that could brighten even the hardest days, and a heart that was always thinking of others. She was thoughtful, generous, lovable, and so wonderfully funny - the kind of friend who made life lighter just by being in it. I´ll always carry her laughter, kindness, and love with me. I´m so grateful to have had her in my life, and I´ll miss her deeply.
