Anastasios "Taso" Arvanitis, 81; Born in Nestani, Greece; Beloved husband of Demetra (nee Kantzavelos); Devoted father of Dina (Paul) Castellucci, Peter (Natalie), and Elias (Katerina); Cherished grandfather of Sophia, Taso, Christina, Demetra, Anthony, and Anastasios; Loving son of the late Panagiotis and Konstantina (nee Doumazos) Arvanitis; Dearest brother of the late George (Pat) and the late Georgia (George) Boundroukas; Dear brother-in-law of Christ (Georgia) Kantzavelos, Angie (Gus) Agalianos, Pat (the late Ted) Vlahopoulos, and Vicky (George) Analitis; Fond uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
He had an incredible zest for life and never lost his playful side despite his battle with Alzheimer's. His greatest loves were God and his family (especially the children). Like many from his village of Nestani he worked incredibly hard alongside his brother George as co-owner of Arvey's restaurant and Village Market Place. He will be remembered fondly for his big heart, generosity and long philosophical conversations.
