It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anda Ioana Jimes, who left this world unexpectedly on August 15, 2025. Born on February 16, 1993, in Iasi, Romania, Anda overcame great hardships in her early life, supported by her loving brother, Vlad Ciolan. After moving to the United States, she became an exceptional student, earning a degree in Criminal Justice and was pursuing her dream of becoming a cybersecurity expert. At the time of her passing, she was enrolled at Bossier Parish Community College.
Anda's passion, spirit, and strength endeared her to everyone she met. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her boundless generosity. She had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, and her warmth will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Joel Raymond Jimes; her children, James Thor Jimes and Diana Juliette Driggers, as well as a host of extended family and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that she gave everything for her children and has now found peace in the loving arms of God.
A memorial service will be held at a future date. Her legacy of love, resilience, and generosity will never be forgotten.
