Andre's journey through life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his work as the Head Custodian for Akron Public Schools. His meticulous care and unwavering dedication to the education community impacted countless students and staff alike, creating a safe and nurturing environment for learning. His gentle spirit and kind-hearted nature made him a beloved figure within the school community, where he was valued not just as an employee, but as a friend and mentor.
A devoted husband, Andre is survived by his loving wife, Mary Caruso, who stood by his side through the many joys and challenges of life. He was a proud father to his children, Lisa Larocca, Scott Caruso, and Andrew Caruso, who are grateful for every moment they shared together. Andre was a family man at heart, finding joy in the little things and cherishing the time spent with his loved ones.
Andre's family will receive friends in the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 811 Grant Street, Akron, OH Tuesday October 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 15 at 10:00 am in Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 300 East Tallmadge Ave. Akron, OH 44310
