Andre Edouard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andre Edouard, who passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 3, 2026, at the age of 64.

Andre was born on June 5, 1961, in Lascahobas, Haiti, and later made his home in Stamford, CT, where he built a life centered around faith, family, and service. Andre was a hardworking and dedicated man who served as the manager at Bongiorno Gas Island for many years.

A man of strong faith, he was a devoted servant of God whose faith guided his life. To his beloved wife he was Dre, to his children he was Dad, to friends he was Balthazar, to many he was Brother Edouard, but to his cherished grandchildren he was simply Papa.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Francilia Edouard.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Francoise Maignan-Edouard; his children, Fitz (Veronika Losonczi-Edouard), Rebecca, and Lindsey Edouard (Maichovsky Philippe); his cherished grandchildren, Maximus, Kayson, Kylie, Mya, Fitz, and Mordecai; as well as many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to relatives and loved ones for their support, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time. Though in his later days Andre may have begun to forget pieces of the world around him, we will never forget the man he was, his faith, his love, and all that he poured into the lives of those around him.

Visitation will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, March 12th at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, March 13th at First United Methodist Church, 42 Cross Road, Stamford, CT. Burial will follow at Long Ridge Union Cemetery, Erskine Road, Stamford, CT.
