Andre Melle Obituary
Andre G. Melle passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Tanya Maise Melle for 38 years. Father of David Melle, John David Paillot, Vida Melle and the late Andre Melle II. Son of the late Palmere Lamy Melle and Louie Melle. Brother of Pepe Melle, Lillian Melle, Michel Melle and the late Yoland Melle, Palmere Melle, Louie Melle, and Paulette Melle. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Andre was born in Lille, France and migrated to New Orleans with his brother when he was 17. He was the owner and operator of his own transportation service for 60 years before retiring. Services will be held privately at a later date.
