ANDRE PRESTON Obituary
Andre Karnell Preston transitioned from this life to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the age of 26. Andre was a native and a resident of Gretna, LA. Son of Karnell and Andrea Preston. Grandson of Arron and Deloris Gatlin, Gary and Lisa Pickins, and Hervon Preston. Great grandson of the late Delta Southern, Leon Davis, Alfred and Deloris Narcisse, and Ezola Preston. Brother of Karnell and Warrenisha Preston, Jamal Gibbson, Michelle Davis and the late Kardell L. Preston, and Karnell Southern. Nephew of Renita Weatherspoon, Donna Perkins, Cheryl Preston, Lillian Berry, Geneva Southern, Betty James, Lisa Davis, Delta Davis, Irvin Preston, Edward James, and the late Beatrice “Deenie” Stewart, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends, that will remember “Dre” dearly. Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers, and members of New Bethel Baptist Church, True Vine Baptist Church, and neighboring churches; employees of Hampton Inn New Orleans French Quarter, and A & L Janitorial Service are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
