Andre' was truly "One of a Kind". I am sad to just be finding out about his passing. He played Santa Claus for my family many years & the joy of those memories still fill our hearts. My sincere condolences to all family, friends & acquaintances. Sincere Regards, Ruby Ridinger & The Lowry Family

Andre was a very good friend of my older brother, Terry Dempsey, also a Desales graduate. He spent many nights at our home during his high school years and in his his single days. He was such a kind soul always made us laugh! He was always kind and helpful and felt like a part of our family. I'm so happy we always kept in touch but regretful we didn't get to see him around the holidays this year. He promised to play his accordion for us. You will be sorely missed and always loved Andre. My deepest condolences to your family. Rita Dempsey Graves

You will be missed my friend! We had a lot of fun in Hershey Pa, your friend James "jimmy" McNutt. Play for god the way we did at the corner bar there!

Andre was one of the most kind people we have ever met. He never knew a stranger. Always smiling. We met him in a bar about 30 years ago where we followed the band who was playing there. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit, visiting all the tables. Always had a kind word for everyone. Found out I graduated from the same high school as he did, so we were friends for life. His dedication to Hospice with his fundraiser every year at Gatsby's was his legacy. That's the last time I saw him, this past September. He took in the most he has haven taken in for Hospice that day, and he was very proud. Will miss him so very much. May the angels take him to heaven. Sally and Bill Gallagher
