Andrea F. Cooper, 82, of Hampstead, NH died Tuesday September 30, 2025, at the Granite VNA Hospice in Concord, NH. Andrea was born in Somerville, MA on August 18, 1943, a daughter of the late Frank Ardizzoni and Charlotte (Eldridge) Dearborn.

Andrea graduated from Stoneham High School and Burdett Secretarial School. She went on to hold Executive Secretary positions prior to her children being born. She later continued to work part time as a Medical Transcriptionist at New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham, MA and Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA. After moving to NH, she was a medical secretary in an Allergist's office and an Optometrist's office before retiring in 1985 due to health concerns.

Although Andrea was limited physically by her medical conditions, she was very involved in her church families at the First Congregational Church in Stoneham, MA where she was the co-superintendent of the Sunday School program for many years as well as an active member in the Couples' Club and the First Parish Congregational Church in East Derry, NH where she was involved in the church's annual Auctions and Harvest Suppers as well as making meals and sending cards to parishioners who were ill, until she was no longer able to participate due to her declining health.

She had many friends in MA, NH, TX, and CA where she also resided for a time, some of whom predeceased her and she missed dearly. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, British and Canadian TV mysteries and spending time with her family and friends.

Her greatest joy was her grandsons, who she adored and fully enjoyed spending time with and watching them grow. She attended their games, concerts and other activities and began watching them remotely when being there physically was no longer possible.

Andrea was a fighter and lived with her illnesses with grace and formidable strength. She was an instant friend and left an unforgettable impression on anyone who met her. The world has lost a bright light.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Tom Cooper of Hampstead; one daughter, Diana Cooper of Atkinson, NH; two sons, Scott Cooper of Manchester, NH, and Jeff Cooper and his wife Holly Redding Cooper of Chelmsford, MA; three grandchildren, Ben, Miles and Grayson; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Following cremation, a calling hour will be held on October 13, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 at the First Parish Church, 47 E. Derry Rd., E. Derry, NH. Memorial services will follow in the church at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NH Food Bank or Family Promise would be greatly appreciated.
