William Alfred Crooker, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Manchester Manor in Connecticut. Bill was born July 13, 1936, in Waltham, MA son of the late Clarence and Gertrude (Smith) Crooker. He grew up in Massachusetts with his two older sisters and then served his country in the United States Air Force as an engine mechanic which he then pursued as his occupation for the remainder of his life. Bill was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. His love and lifelong faithfulness showed as he cheered them on from when he used to attend games at Fenway as a child to watching games at home right up to his passing.

Bill is survived by his two daughters, Bobbi Demers and her husband Louis of Vernon and Keely Crooker of West Virginia and his beloved dog Benny. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by three wives, Dorothy, Catherine and Cindy, two children, Richard Crooker and Carolyn Worchel and his sisters, Dorothy Byers and Jean Bickford.

There are no calling hours. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Friday October 10, 2025, at 11:00am in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry Road (located behind First Parish Congregational Church), Derry.
