Andrea Renea Koteski, 47, of St. Charles, IL died peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2024 in her home.  Born June 29, 1976 in Rockford, daughter of Thomas C. Koteski and Margery Caruana Koteski.

Survivors include her loving partner Bob and their child, J., her mother, sister, brother and a large extended family. Predeceased by her father and beloved grandparents Josephine Caruana, Angelo Caruana, Betty Koteski and Emil Koteski.

Andrea was a force of energy and creativity. She loved acting, art, cooking and crafts. She viewed the world as a fresh canvas so with paint and her hot glue gun she colored, decorated and changed everything she touched.

Andrea made life an experience. She knew how to make things fun and there was never a dull moment. Even a simple day of baking or planting flowers had it’s own soundtrack.

She loved music and it went with her everywhere, especially the pool and beach. She loved water, sunshine and summer days. Her most favorite thing to do was going to concerts in the park. She would always end up dancing in the middle of a bunch of little kids and bubbles.

Andrea loved kids and kids loved her. She spent many years as a Daisy and Brownie Scout Leader planning meetings and events for her troop. She spent countless hours volunteering at her child's school with choir concerts and theater productions as well as working in the cafeteria and as a playground attendant.

She also threw the best birthday parties ever! She loved making wishes into reality so she would use her endless energy and creativity to do it the biggest possible way and then add homemade snacks. She wanted all wishes to come true. She wanted everyone to be happy and for every day to be a birthday party so she made everything extra and BIG and fun.

Andrea loved all colors and every shade of pink was her favorite.  If you will be attending her visitation or funeral please consider wearing cheerful colors to celebrate her.

Life with ‘Drea was a technicolor experience and it was everything but boring. We will miss all the glitter and bubbles that came along with her, the way she could turn the ordinary into memorable and her talent for making everyday into a big day.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 in St. Rita Catholic Church preceded by a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Mass.  Private family  burial.   The family was assisted by Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lazarus House, 214  Walnut St., St. Charles, IL 60174; website is lazarushouse.net.  Send condolences and share memories at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
