Andrea Moore

Andrea Mae Moore, 61, formerly of Moore Drive, Peru, NY passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025.
She was born in Plattsburgh on June 5, 1963, to Reginald D. and Patricia (Silver) Dermody. She grew up in Morrisonville and graduated from Peru Central School in 1981.
Andrea married Christopher K. Moore on June 6, 1987 at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville.
She loved spending time with friends and family, listening to classic rock, specifically "oldies", and cooking. Her favorite place on Earth was her family's cottage on Cape Cod. Andrea loved animals and greenery.
Andrea was predeceased by her father Reginald Dermody, mother-in-law Patricia Moore and father-in-law Robert Moore.
Left to cherish the memory of Andrea are her husband of 37 years Christopher Moore of Plattsburgh, son and daughter-in-law Nicholas and Laura Moore of Morrisonville and their daughter Blaire, mother Patricia Dermody, sister Kim Lamotte, sister and brother-in-law Terrianne and Glenn Pavone, sister and brother-in-law Gina and Michael Mckinnon, brother Edward Dermody and his long-time girlfriend Jamie Lafountain, several nieces and nephews, many cousins and of course, many friends.
A memorial life celebration will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11AM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, NY. A reception will follow with details to be announced at the service. Burial will be held at a later date at God's Acre Cemetery in Peru.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or Elmore SPCA.
