Andres Jusayan Obituary
Born November 10, 1942, in Dinalupihan, Bataan, Philippines, he was the son of the late Benito Jusayan and Felicidad Aguilar. Andy graduated from Northern Bataan Institute Class of 1960 in the Philippines. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War and thereon for 23 years.
Andy married his high school sweetheart, Luz Jusayan. They celebrated 53 years of marriage on June 1st. He was a longtime member of the Bataan Association of Virginia and St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Virginia Beach.
Left to cherish his memory: his beloved wife of 53 years, Luz Jusayan; sons, Joel and Ronald; grandchild, Alexis Higgins-Jessup; and his pet, Harley. He is also survived by many relatives from Virginia, Philippines, California, Australia, Canada, Newport News, Florida, and Chicago.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8PM on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel. A prayer service will be held during the visitation, beginning at 7PM. The funeral mass for Andres will be held at 12PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. The burial will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park, with military honors provided by the US Navy. Condolences may be offered to the family at:

Rest in peace, ANDY. I met ANDY many, many moons ago, (1970) when I was stationed in SACLANT. We´re all young, energetic and a very dedicated sailors. Andy is humorous, and expert in pagtutula. There´s not any dull days on or off work. His good sense of humor and wit makes the days a lot of fun. He is loyal, sincere, and a true friend. He´s the kind of guy who gives his shirt off his back. My deepest sympathy to your wife Luz, and your kids. May God bless you.
May the LORD grant eternal rest unto the soul of Andy and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Representing the local chapter of the American parkinson Disease Assn., where I was lucky to meet and get to know Luz, so I know of Andres suffering. May you rest in peace, my brother.
