Mr Baird was always very kind to me. In the mid 70"s we need 6x6 beams for building up our driveway edge. My Baird was so nice to this "city slicker". He told me what I needed; and then cut it to the lengths I required. In later years I was always building something and Mr. Baird was always available to help me. In those later years he would sit up in his car and when he saw me arrive he would walk slowly down to meet me. My memories of Mr Baird we always so nice. Recently I would see him at the Mobil station having lunch and we would share a few words. Don Simonini

Andy has been a friend for almost 60 years, starting when he and my husband played on the baseball town team in Waitsfield. I have many cherished memories. During this last year when I would call him , he would answer with "well hello , Anne Mitchell". Always cheerful, he never complained. Will miss you, my dear friend.

Andy came into ICS every day for the 12 tears I worked there. Always a smile and the paper. If he didn´t come in I scolded him "I don´t look good In worry lines" I´d say. He´d give me the Andy smile and promised to call. Kept it too. He regaled us with stories about his road trip. We´ll regale us subjective . Man of few words but every one counted. Missing him and thinking of you all.
