Andrew John Cardiel Sr., 78, of Norwalk, CA passed away on December 13, 2024 at his home in Banning, CA. He was born the 1st day of December in 1946 in Los Angeles, CA the son of Eugene and Micaela Cardiel.
Andrew graduated from Excelsior high school in 1964,then proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and received a degree in Automotive, along with a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Rifle Marksman Badge.
He was known for always helping others without hesitation. If he wasn't helping others he loved restoring classic cars, trucks, or boat engines. He enjoyed his time as a member of the Chevy Short bed club, driving his boat, going fishing, riding his Harley, coaching baseball to his sons and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his son Nathan that he raised, his spouse Georgia, 4 Children, Carla, Andrew Jr., Lana, and Danielle, 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his brother Tony, 3 sisters Mary, Hilda, and Celia along with all who knew him. Thank you Dad for being such a solid foundation for us all.
