Andrew Carmosino Obituary

Born in Erie on April 19, 1944, he was the son of the late Andrew and Kathryn (Blackmun) Carmosino.
Andy was a 30-plus year retiree from Penelec where he was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor. He loved cats, still-life photography, and was an avid motorcycle rider. He enjoyed camping and being outdoors in nature. Andy was a fan of 1960's rock music and attended many outdoor concerts at Woodstock through the years.
He is survived by his son, William D. Carmosino; his daughter, Marcy Brown (Bob); his sister, Kit Carmosino; a close cousin, Jim Polacci; 5 grandchildren, Rachael (Alec), Christina, Dominic, Sofia, and Oliva, and 4 great grandchildren, Tucker, Adrian, Kip, and Scarlet.
In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 53 years, Marcia J. (Smith) Carmosino in June of 2024.
A Memorial Service for Andy will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Garden Heights Baptist Church, 4224 McClelland Avenue, Erie, PA 16510.
Memorial donations may be made to the Anna Shelter, 1555 E. 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.

I remember Andy from school days at the old school house bus stop. I also recall the very unfortunate time that he was hit by a truck near
Rt5 and Dutch road. Andy was always pleasant and kind.
