Andrew "Andy" W. D'Orazio, age 73, of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away on January 21, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born to Phillip and Margaret Dolores D'Orazio in South Philadelphia, PA, Andy has left a lasting legacy in the hearts of those who knew him. He resided in Boothwyn, PA, for the past 46 years.
Andy was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Claymont, DE.
Affectionately referred to as "City Boy" by his family, Andy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His favorite pastime was spending quality moments with his wonderful wife, three daughters, and his son. Family vacations, gatherings by the pool, and the sound of his favorite tunes while grilling brought him immense happiness.
Andy had a passion for photography, reading, golfing, fishing, and family RV trips. An avid Philadelphia sports fan, he cheered for the Eagles and Phillies. Known as "Mr. Fix It," Andy's handyman skills were unmatched. He was a true family man, finding the greatest joy in the company of his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Andrew is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Judi Smola D'Orazio, his children Adrienne D'Orazio (Pete Brennan), Elizabeth D'Orazio (Marco Avendano), Candice McClennen (Scott), and Damien D'Orazio, as well as his grandchildren Brooke and Anthony D'Orazio, and Austin and Declan McClennen.
A visitation to celebrate Andy's life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).

So so sorry to see this. I was good friends with his wife and we spent many trips going up the mountains. Worked by each other at Boeing. Lost contact after being laid off from there. Send you special prayers Judi and family. Love Bill & Gloria
