It is with deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Andrew "Andy" M. DeKeyser, age 36, of Appleton unexpectedly at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center of Appleton on Saturday, June 24, 2023. Andy was born on July 11, 1986, in Appleton to Clint and Cathy DeKeyser. Andy graduated in 2005 from Appleton North High School. On May 23, 2009, he married his high school sweetheart, the love of his life, Jennifer Meyer. On November 20, 2014 they welcomed their cherished daughter, Kyra.
Andy had a passion for the outdoors; including: fishing, golfing, camping, and hunting. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and enjoyed playing many sports himself as a child. He also enjoyed sharing his time through volunteer work. Most of all, Andy cherished being a dad, spending time with his daughter Kyra and wife Jenn, family and friends.
Andy is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Jennifer; his beloved daughter Kyra; his parents Clint (Martha) DeKeyser and Cathy (Bill) DeKeyser; his brothers Travis (Kim) DeKeyser and Matt (Sara) Kurtz; step-brothers: Rodney and Ryan Dvorachek; parents-in-law Ron and Diane Meyer; brother-in-law Jason Meyer; sister-in-law Jessica (Andrew) Bartman; nieces: Kendall, Melody, Makayla, and Caliann; nephews Sawyer and Carson; and many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, other relatives and friends.
Andy will be remembered for his kind heart, warm friendly smile, and perseverance.
A Memorial Service for Andy will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at BRETTSCHNEIDER TRETTIN NICKEL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 606 N Oneida Street, Appleton. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
