Andrew Stephen Duggan

Andrew Stephen Duggan was born on May 17, 1989, at South Fulton Hospital in East Point, Georgia. He passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Andrew grew up in Stockbridge, Georgia. He played basketball, baseball, and football. He loved wrestling and playing video games. His love for baseball was undeniable. He coached his son Cooper's Little League team for years. Andrew's love of coaching baseball was his life. Also, his love of life was his Cooper. He was such a caring, thoughtful son, father, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend to all. He touched so many lives with his sweet soul and big blue eyes. He leaves behind a broken-hearted family. His mother, Leigh (Woody) Stinson, and father, Steve (Robin) Duggan; brothers and sisters, Chris, Natalie, Tiffany, Emily, and Josh; Grandmothers, Joann Duggan, also known as MeMaw, and Gail Black; his wife, Melinda Griffin; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Andrew is preceded in death by his loving great-grandparents, Muz and Pop, Nanny and Baba, and grandparents, Papa Denny, Poppy, and Grandma Glenda. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, located at 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, Georgia 30263, with Pastor Jeff Shelton officiating.
