It is with profound sadness that the family of Andrew "Andy" Jackson announces his passing on August 19, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on December 2, 1966, in Springfield, Missouri, Andrew was a lifelong resident of the area and cherished his community deeply. He was admired for his integrity and kindness in every endeavor he undertook.

Andy had a passion for mustangs and going to car shows. He was very knowledgeable about airplanes and enjoyed learning about space travel and rockets, he attended several rocket launches in Florida. He was always fascinated with new technology. He enjoyed traveling and sharing unique restaurants with his friends. He also had a vast love for tigers. Andy had a big heart and was very generous, he never met a stranger.

Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Thaddeus Jackson

Andrew is survived by his spouse, Candace Jackson; his son, Andrew Jackson; his mother, Geraldine Jackson; his brother, Steven Jackson and his wife Donna; his sister, Thadine Hartley and her husband Michale; his nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A celebration of life will be held at Passion Assembly of God 806 N Forest Ave. Springfield, MO Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Diabetes Association as a way to honor Andrew's memory and the values he held dear.

Rest in peace, Andrew. You will be remembered for your unwavering spirit and the love you shared with those around you.
