Andrew Lants Obituary

Published by Legacy on Apr. 9, 2025.
Died peacefully on April 3, 2025.
Born July 25, 1947 in Tarentum, PA to Louis and Catherine Lants.
Andy loved his family and was the glue among his siblings. He served 2 tours in Vietnam (Army 4th Infantry) and earned a bronze star during his service to our country. He was proud of his service and was rarely without his veteran's hat. He was a Harley enthusiast and loved to ride until his health prevented him from doing so. He was never without a boxer dog - they were his constant companion and he loved them dearly. He also spent many hours in the barn with his horses Dixie and Pixie and found peace and solitude with them. He was generous to a fault with family and friends.
Andy is survived by his daughter Traci Osburn (Kevin); Grandchildren Kyle Osburn and Korrinna Cramlet (Josh); Sister Cathy Walker and Brothers Ben, Dave (Nancy), and Al (Cindy); nephews Brian, Keith, Joe, Clint and Chris as well as great nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life service with a luncheon held Saturday April 26, 2025 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles located at 135 White Mill Rd., New Market, VA
