the first time i ever met andrew i remember me and a friend needed a ride to the gas station and he offered to drive us on his golf cart. even though his driving foot was hurt, and he wasn´t supposed to leave his house, in a heartbeat he told us "be there in 5". surely enough andrew was there in his golf cart ready to take us anywhere no complaints. he was the most selfless person and genuinely so so sweet. one of the kindest souls i knew

i met him in 6th grade and we sat at the same lunch table. he was eating goldfish and reading a book with his hoodie on and i asked him if that´s all he was gonna eat for lunch and he said "nope i´ve got another bag" and i would´ve never guessed he would´ve become the most amazing, sweetest friend i could´ve ever had. i felt safe and loved every second i was around him. i am so so so greatful i was able to live so close and spent so much time with him around me he always knew how to lighten the mood and would never fail to make me laugh even if i was crying. he truly saved me and i don´t know what i would do if he wasn´t apart of my life. mrs. mccarty and mr. mccarty raised such a sweet gentleman and i couldn´t thank them more for him. he was truly a light that wouldn´t stop shining and im completely heartbroken that he is no longer here. i have so much love for the mccarty family and they will always be in my prayers.
