Andrew Mongeon Obituary
Andrew Clement Mongeon, 102, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky died at 5:56 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2025 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Private services will be held at a later date by the family. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Winooski, Vermont he was born on May 8, 1922 the son of the late Ernest Mongeon and Addie Willette Mongeon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Lagace Mongeon and his daughter, Andrea M. Mertelli.
He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church and a World War II Army Veteran. He worked as a mechanical engineer for the United States Navy and the Department of Defense.
Survivors include his sons: Scott (Nancy) Mongeon of Colchester, Vermont, Roch (Suzzane) Mongeon of Dayton, Maryland, Bruce (Ginger) Mongeon of King Charles, Virginia; his daughters, Robin (John) Bell of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Karen E. (Pat) Cafferty of Cincinnati, Ohio. Sixteen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren.
