He was born in Screven, GA to the late Pleman "Pete" Peacock and Magdeline Crawford Peacock. He was a pastor for many years serving at University Blvd. Church of God and most recently at Christ Church in Waycross.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Marlene Chandler.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Barnard Peacock of Blackshear; a daughter, Andrea Tanner (Keith) of Blackshear; a son, Rev. Andrew F. Peacock, Jr. (Tara) of Blackshear; four grandchildren, Kalin Tanner (Haylie) of China Grove, NC, Haleigh James (Devin) of Columbus, GA, Ashton LaDuke of Blackshear, and Andrew Bryce Peacock of Athens, GA; six great grandchildren, Gideon Tanner, Emma Grace James, Ruah Tanner, Ellington James, Paxton LaDuke, and Uriel Tanner; and a brother-in-law, Otis Chandler of Blackshear.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday (November 13, 2022) at New Life Church. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday at Music Funeral Home from 6 until 8 o'clock. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday (November 14, 2022) at Shiloh Cemetery in Blackshear.
