Andrew was born on July 26th 1958 to Nancy Franco in Denver Colorado, where he grew up with his large family and friends. At an early age Andrew accepted the Lord as his Savior and was Baptized at St Cajetan Catholic Church where he went on to be an Alter boy and later celebrated his First Holy Communion when he was 12. Andrew graduated from West High School in 1977. Following high school Andrew learned at a young age that in order to get what you want you have to work hard and that he did.
Andrew grew up with 3 siblings, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Many years later he found out that he had another sister named Elizabeth. It was Gods will that Andrew be reunited with his sister. They finally got that chance in 2019. Elizabeth would like to let the family know that she is so grateful and happy to have had her brother in her life, even though it was only for a short amount of time.
Andrew eventually moved to Brookings SD where he made it his permanent home. After years of asking the love of his life, Delia LaCroix, to marry him. She finally said yes. They married in Sisseton SD where they accepted God in their lives together. October 15th would ve been their 36th year anniversary.
Andrew was well known for all his hard work and took pride in everything that he did. Especially when it came to his impeccable painting skills. Andrew went on to own his own interior and exterior painting business. He was well known in the Brookings Community and was known to some as Fast Andy when it came to painting.
When Andrew wasn t perfecting someone s home or place of business he loved to be around his family and friends no matter what it was. He was also a dedicated Denver Broncos Fan and avid pool player.
Andrew never took things too serious. He liked to tell jokes and had the best sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh. He was always a breath of fresh air.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Raymond Franco; his favorite nephew Joaquin Franco who was unfortunately taken at very young age.
Andrew is survived by his devoted and caring wife, Delia of Brookings, SD; his 2 children Yvelle (Ryan) Redlinger of Virginia Beach VA and Andrew A.J Romero of Brookings SD; his Mother, who he loved dearly Nancy Franco of Denver, CO; his brother, Joseph Franco of Denver, CO; his three sisters; Sylvia (Randy) Gallegos of Aurora, CO, Annette Romero of Thornton, CO and Elizabeth (Lazaries) Davis of Aurora, CO; along with his four grandchildren; who he thought the world of Xavier Mathew, Vincent James, Fiona Adelle and Mason Lyle, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
