LACONIA ---- Andrew James "Drew" Seneca Jr., 73, of Laconia, New Hampshire, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital, Lebanon New Hampshire after a valiant fight with cancer. Born on February 6, 1952, in Yonkers, New York, Drew lived a life filled with music, friendship, and an unwavering passion for the things he loved most.
Drew graduated from college with a degree in business and went on to become an insurance adjuster for twenty years. He later owned The Downtown Deli in Laconia, where his entrepreneurial spirit thrived. However, it was music that truly defined his life and career. A gifted entertainer and musician, Drew performed across the globe and shared stages with many renowned artists. Among all his musical endeavors, his heart belonged to The Rockin Daddios-a group that brought him immense joy and allowed him to connect deeply with audiences through song and performance.
In addition to his musical talents, Drew was an avid outdoorsman. He was a skilled hunter with extensive knowledge of firearms and ammunition-so much so that he became an NRA educator for gun safety and hunting. His expertise extended to crafting his own ammunition, a testament to his dedication and precision.
Drew's vibrant personality made him unforgettable. He had a unique ability to form deep bonds with those around him. Though he did not have children or siblings beyond his late brother Jeffery Seneca, Drew built a chosen family rooted in love and loyalty.
He shared a special bond with his sister Jeanne Coulombe and was surrounded by men who stood by him through life's challenges-Jim Rogato, Bo Guyer, Carl Deprospo, Richy Bryant, Duane Johnson, Mike Curran, Pete Richards, John Moriarty and Tom Dunfee -each of whom he considered brothers. Also, his friends Gloria Leccese and Judy Rogato who always made him smile and were great supporters.
To many others whom he affectionately called his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, Drew was more than a friend; he was family. His warmth and generosity left lasting impressions on all who knew him.
Drew was predeceased by his father Andrew Seneca Sr., mother Margory (Hill) Seneca, and brother Jeffery Seneca.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A celebration of Drew's life will be held at a later date to honor the legacy of a man whose music touched hearts and whose spirit brought people together.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire the joy he so freely gave.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial donations may be made in Drew's memory to The Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247.

Yesterday

Sorry to hear of Drew's passing. My life partner and I knew Drew for a long time. He had a zest for life and enjoyed singing,
playing guitar, and telling jokes. My condolences.
