It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew “Andy” David Shread, a cherished father, son, brother, nephew, and friend, who left us on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the age of 43. Andy was born on June 9, 1982, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and grew into a remarkable man who made a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree and dedicated his professional life to civil engineering and land surveying. He was also a proud member of the SIGMA CHI Fraternity, reflecting his commitment to building lasting relationships. Andy had a profound love for the outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, gardening, or grilling, he found joy and peace in nature. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his beloved children, Charlotte and William, and was deeply devoted to his friends and family. Many special moments were spent at the hunting camp in Clinton, where laughter and camaraderie blossomed. Andy is preceded in death by his grandparents; Ed and Faye Hawkins, and Raymond and Josephine Shread.
Andy is survived by his children, William Shread and Charlotte Shread; as well as the mother of his children, Hannah Shread; mother, Jeri H. Shread; father, Richard R.
