JoAnn Broussard, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at The Crossing of Clarity Hospice at the age of 71. She was born on April 18, 1954, in Lafayette, LA.
Joann is survived by her siblings, Steve Broussard and his wife, Gayle, Juanita “Pullette” Leger, and Helen Laird and her husband, James; sister-in-law, Nina Racca; brother-in-law, Michael Schexnayder; and her special friend, Brenda Bourgeois.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Eddie Broussard and Lizzie Mae Romero Broussard; siblings, Carl Broussard, Michael Broussard, and Brenda Schexnayder; brother-in-law, Randall Leger; great-niece, Hannah Broussard; great-nephew, Jory Thaxton; and her little chihuahua, Sweet Pea.
