Andrew R. "Andy"
Age 75, of Penn Hills, on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Beloved husband of Dana D. (Maslyk); loving father of Mindy (Ian) Sipula and Rebecca (David) Woods; cherished grandfather of Olive, Stella, Samuel and Noah. brother of Robert (Marlene) Vitko, Marie (James) Bowers and the late Patricia Tighe. Andy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. He retired from Pittsburgh Public Schools after 32 years with his last 19 years part of the Pittsburgh Gifted Program. Andy was very active at Mt. Hope Community Presbyterian Church as a manager of the softball team, working with the youth program and serving as a member of Session. He was a family man, who loved playing board games and spending time with his grandchildren. Friends received, Friday, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm & 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Soxman Funeral Home, 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills. A Service will be held, Saturday, 11:00 am in Mt. Hope Community Presbyterian Church. Interment in Plum Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Hope Community Presbyterian Church 12106 Frankstown Road Penn Hills, PA 15235.
