Funeral Service for Andrew L. Wallace, 82, of Eclectic, Alabama, will be Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Jordan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Andrew L. Wallace, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home with his family.
Andrew's life was one of service and dedication. After serving his country in the Vietnam War as a radiology technologist in the United States Navy, he continued his commitment to healthcare by working in the hospital and as an educator of radiology until retirement.
Andrew was a man of many interests. He was an active member of the Master Gardener club. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and woodworking.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Laughead Wallace of Eclectic, AL; his sons, Charles L. (Lisa) Wallace, Stephen S. (Debbie) Wallace; his daughters, Karen Bainter, Debby (Bill) Simmons; his grandchildren, Ashley Heath, Johnny Smith, Katie Atchison, Krista Jones, Courtney Gregson, Chad Wallace, Troy Simmons, Isaac Simmons, Leanna Simmons; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Lester Wallace, his mother, Nelthen Lynette Wallace, his son, Michael Bainter, and his sister, Glenda Wallace.
Andrew will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
