Andrew was born on May 26, 1939 and was lifelong residence of Edison. He earned his GED and was a jack of all trades. Alongside of being the Boiler Room Maintenance for Oakite in Metuchen, he was also a Roofer and a Welder. He enjoyed playing chess and working with computers.
He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew S. and Carmella (n. Lista) White and his sister, Rachel Halliwell.
Andrew is survived by his devoted wife of over 60 years, Carolyn (n. Hickey) White of Edison; his children: Andrew White, and his wife Heidi, of Glenwood, NJ, Deborah Schwan of Newark, NY, Frank White, and his wife Donna, of Virginia, Wendy White of Missouri; his brother, Samuel White of NJ; his 10 grandchildren and his 17 great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave. Metuchen.
The Funeral will take place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Helena Catholic Church, Edison. The interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen.
