Mr. Andrew Williams, Jr., 72, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in Savannah at Memorial Health. He was born October 5, 1952, in Wadley to the late Andrew Williams, Sr. and Lela Washington Williams. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents; son, Phil McGirt; sisters, Georgia Williams and Annie Ruth Williams; brothers, Floyd Williams, Tommy Williams, Gene Williams and George Williams.
He is survived by his sons, Marcus Williams (Tiffany), Terrance Jones, both of Swainsboro, Mark Wise (Bonita) of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter, Andrea Woods (Derrick) of Augusta; stepchildren, Hosea Sherrod, Larry Sherrod, Felechia Sherrod, Rodney Sherrod; brothers, Paul Williams (Audrey) of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters, Ella Mae Worthen of Swainsboro, Pauline Seays of Atlanta, Essie Starks of Jacksonville, Florida; 23 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.
