We at Orchestra Kentucky are devastated by the news of Andy´s passing. I have so many wonderful memories of him playing in the orchestra´s first violin section. He always played with such joy, whether it was Beethoven or the Beatles. Students at the string academy loved him.
May God comfort those he left behind with the mark he left on Bowling Green and so many other places. We are all better for having known him.

To the Zabinski Family:
I want to send my deepest condolences to you all. As a violinist, I performed with him in orchestras in Alabama and Georgia. Andy was a wonderful violinist and had a great sense of humor. I´ll never forget the time when he asked the orchestra personnel manager for an extra music stand so he can place his orchestra score. He was not conducting, just performing in the violin section and he wanted to learn the music better while the conductor rehearsed other music sections. In my twenty-three years of professional orchestra performance, I have never seen someone that devoted to their craft. Andy was a wonderful example of how to be a great orchestra colleague and a friend.

So sorry to learn of Andy´s death. He was such a talented young man. He always made Mass more special with his music. Loved his creativity with his email address. My prayers are with Andrzej, Mallen, Kasia and family. He will be missed.
