Andy "Bubba" Vaughan Obituary

Andy “Bubba” Lee Vaughan, 75, of Easley, South Carolina, husband of the late Janet Andrews Vaughan, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Walter Lee Vaughan Jr. and Gwendolyn Adkins Vaughan. Andy proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War. After his service, he pursued an education in business, earning an associate’s degree that laid the foundation for his career. Andy worked as a C & C Machinist for John D. Hollingsworth, where his skills and work ethic earned him respect among his colleagues.

Outside of his professional life, Andy had a passion for working in his yard and watching the birds, finding joy and tranquility in nurturing nature. He also had a keen interest in collecting knives. Andy was a family man at heart, devoting much of his time and energy to his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, with whom he enjoyed memorable moments. Also, Andy will be missed by his loyal companion, "My Girl." Andy's legacy of love, commitment, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.

Andy is survived by his daughter Diane Sentell (Eddie) of Easley, and his beloved grandchildren, Patricia Renee Sentell and Wyatt Edward Sentell.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Reneé Lisa Vaughan.

Once arrangements are finalized, the service details will be announced by Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Berea Friendship United Methodist Church, 8001 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29617.
